Switching to Four-Day Weeks

CINCINNATI, Ohio (FOX19) – A local school is switching to a four-day school week.

Ramone Davenport, director of Dohn Community High School, says it isn’t a cost-cutting move. He says he’s been thinking about making the change for a while to help teachers reboot and give students the opportunity to intern or work.

Davenport says the students will still receive the required 920 hours because Fridays will become “tech days” where students can learn online, get tutoring or come in for extra help.
